  1. <cr> Hitting a return causes the next message (if any) to be read

  2. ? Give short list of all commands
  3. A Give list of message areas without descriptions
    1. AF Give the areas list with descriptions (if set)
    2. AF name Give more information about the specified area (if available)
    3. AN Show the areas that have new mail since you last logged off
    4. A name Change to area 'name'
    5. ALI Shows command 'aliases' as set by the sysop. (abbreviation)
  4. B Bye (ie. disconnect)
  5. C node Netrom connection, if permitted and available
    1. C port call AX.25 connection, if permitted CA Connect to callbook server (if available)
  6. CONV [chan] Convers bridge (like Dx-CLUSTER), if available [Default is channel 0]
  7. D filename Download textfile 'filename'
    1. DU filename Download a uuencoded file (for binary files)
    2. DX filename Download with xmodem (for tip connects)
    3. DM Download (ie, display) message-of-the-day
  8. E Show the escape character E char Set the escape character to 'char' (one character!)
  9. F Finger users on this system or remote tcp systems
    1. 'F conf' will show conference bridge users.
    2. 'F iheard' will show the ip-heard list. For local users, this will now show when the user was last logged in to the system. Eg
    3. 'F wg7j' For remote tcp systems 'F @host' shows all users on 'host' or 'F user@host' shows 'user' on system 'host'

  11. I Info on system. Shows a message set by the sysop
  12. IH IHeard, shows recently heard tcp/ip stations
  13. IP IProute, shows the tcp/ip routes the system maintains
  14. J Just heard, on all sysop-enabled ports
    1. J port Just heard on 'port'
  15. K n n Kill message # n (one or more numbers or ranges is accepted)
    1. KM Kill Mine, kills all read messages
    2. KU Un-kills messages previously marked to be killed
  16. L List new messages
    1. LA List ALL messages in current area
    2. LB List messages with message type B (bulletins)
    3. LH List Held messages. All msgs in current area are checked.
    4. LM List mine, lists new messages
    5. LL n List last n messages
    6. LT List message with message type T (traffic)
    7. LS xyz List messages with string 'xyz' in subject
    8. L> xyz List only messages with string 'xyz' in the To: field

    9. L< xyz List only messages with string 'xyz' in the From: field

  17. M Shows current mailbox users
    1. MC name Copy the current message to area/path 'name' (SYSOP only)
    2. MC x [y,z] name Copy messages x,y and z in current area to area/path 'name'
    3. ML Shows all past users since system startup
    4. ML n Shows the n past users since startup ML call Shows when 'call' logged on last
    5. MM name Move the current message to area/path 'name' (SYSOP only)
    6. MM x [y,z] name Move messages x,y and z in current area to area/path 'name'
    7. MS Show message and system status
  18. N Alphabetical listing of known netrom nodes (if available)
    1. NR Shows all netrom neighbour nodes
    2. N nodename/call Shows information about the route to the node
    3. N * Shows infomation about all nodes (Long!)
  19. O Chat with operator (if system is attended)
  20. P Give a list of the ax.25 ports of the system (and description, if set by sysop)
  21. PI host Ping a tcp/ip host (ie. check if it is 'alive'). This shows the round-trip-time to the system.
  22. R n Read message n (a list of numbers or ranges is accepted)
    1. RH Read all Held messages (SYSOP only).
    2. RM Read Mine, reads all unread messages
  23. REG Register as a user on this bbs
  24. S Send message (defaults to private)
    1. SB Send bulletin (be carefull!)
    2. SC Send with Carbon Copy to others
    3. SF Forward current message to someone else
    4. SP Send private message
    5. ST Send traffic message
    6. SR Send a reply to the current message
    7. SR n Send a reply to message number n
  25. T host [port] Telnet to 'host' (if permitted) (the optional port specifies a tcp port if other then the telnet port)
  26. U file Upload a textfile
    1. UX file Upload a textfile with xmodem (for Tip users)
  27. V n Verbose read of message n (a list or range is accepted)
    1. VH Verbose read of all Held messages (SYSOP only).
    2. VM Verbose read of all unread messages
  28. W What files are in the current directory
    1. W path Listing of the directory 'path'. Wildcards ie, *, are accepted
  29. X Toggle Expert status
    1. XA Toggle current area-indication in prompt
    2. XM Show number of lines before more-prompt
    3. XM n Set more-prompt to n lines
    4. XN Toggle the 'Netrom look-alike' prompt on/off
    5. XP Toggle LINEMODE-style prompting for input (telnet/tip users)
    6. XR Show if a 'reply-to: your-email-address' is added when sending mail. You need to have set an email address with 'REG'
    7. XR on|off Sets the 'reply-to' state to on or off Z file Zap (delete) a file (if permitted)
